This was a lot of fun, but the end was about the one ending I never considered. Knowing it was Joss Whedon, however, I should have... As much as I love the guy's work, he really seems to hate anything resembling romance. I think somebody needs to get him laid; it would change his whole outlook!

he's married--so i think you can guess why he hates romance...

the ending took me by surprise, as w ell, until i remembered it WAS a joss whedon "joint", and that motherfucker kills off characters, "just because..."
